If you were to own signature guitars, which would they be?

Re: If you were to own signature guitars, which would they be?

I have a Kenny Wayne Shepherd strat. I bought it based solely on the features at the price point.early 60s body style, Big neck, big frets, avr bridge, alum shielding plate, satin neck finish,etc..impossible to find on most strats until you get into custom shop stuff.

Id like a Bonamossa 335, clapton 335, or lifeson 355 as I have switched over to semi hollows.Wish I had tried a semi about 25 thousand dollars ago. Would have saved me a ton of time, effort, and cash.

Angus Young SG Standard
Ibanez Reb Beach Voyager Koa
Washburn Nuno Limited N4 Koa
Suhr Reb Beach Koa

Yeah, I have a KOA fetish......

I convened a special photo shoot just for this thread.
Left-right: Buckethead Les Paul Studio, Ibanez Gary Willis fretless bass, Jackson PC-2 Phil Collen model, and two mid 80's Hamer Steve Stevens models (these are not the original, but the second Steve Stevens signature model built by Hamer).
I love these guitars.

If I were to get any other signature models, I might like
An 80's Kramer Nightswan
A Fender Mark Knopfler Strat
A PRS Chris Henderson
A PRS Paul's Guitar
An EBMM Steve Morse model, though I have a Steve Morse bridge humbucker in one of my guitars, and that pickup's unique tone is one main reason for the interest in the signature guitar. Of course his new signature guitar has a cool flame top and purple/magenta burst finish.
And I really would like one day to own a Jackson KE-1 Marty Freidman Kelly - like this:

I'm not a big fan of signature guitars cause I hate how it looks like I'm trying to cop the original users style lol..

If I was to get one it would be either the Josh Homme Maton semi hollow , Troy Van Leeuwen Yamaha semi hollow or that Kurt Cobain Mustang because I love the mustang shape and feel but hate their stock pickups so with the Kurt Cobain model you get good SD humbuckers... OH and the Derek Trucks SG because it looks awesome with that vibrato tailpiece ! ... OH OH and the new Chris Cornell ES-335 in flat black with the filtertrons

That's an easy one for me. It's the PRS DGT sig model (David Grissom). I have no idea who the guy is, but the specs of the guitar are just awesome for someone who wants a compromise between an LP and a Strat. I will definitely get one within the year.

Excellent choice Tor. I recently tried one and whilst I don't GAS for any thing at the moment if I do get another guitar it will without a doubt be a PRS DGT for sure!

Re: If you were to own signature guitars, which would they be?

Dave Grissom is a monster player. If playing his PRS sig guitar made some of his talent rub off on me, I'd all over that.

Nice collection indeed - the Hamers are hot!

How do you like the Buckethead LP? I've always liked the minimalist look and the idea of a bigger body/longer scale.
