it was a very very good deal. someone is real happy tonight . Maybe I'll get a second chance offer? Wishfull thinking. A little heavey at 8+ lbs., but a quality Warmoth professional Nitrocellulose Alder body WITH Antiquities, the worlds best Strat pickups, and i'm dead serious about that..and a neck that could easily be sold( I was going to put a nice maple rosewood on it, plus with a Custom case.
Yeah, I'm a little light in the wallet, otherwise I woulda' bid more.I shoulda bid more.
I don't mind the slight error on the relic..not in the least.

If you want a shell pink strat, Jerry, I'll sell you mine with the original Fender Custom Shop singles for $375.00. That'll get you a MIJ Fender 60's reissue Strat with the original Fender bridge (with rust and broken trem arm in the block), the replaced GFS bridge (with full sized brass block), a fat maple/rosewood neck (slab board, not veneer), a very resonant alder body, and we might even work a deal for the StraBro90s that are in it now.

What's with the heavily discolored neck wood right at the neck pocket? That can't be good for transporting things.

It also has a Tele headstock, naked with no decals of any kind, on a Strat body. I think it probably looks pretty weird in person.

I don't think its fair what you guys are saying. I'm not about self serving posts about how much crap have. I am a mainly Strat player and have a few Strats, sure.
My purpose to get this was to maybe change up one of my lesser quality Strats and sell the parts would have left over.
1st,.. pockets, respect and sh*t, but your out of you mind.. this Start would blow the effin doors off off 90%% of the Starts you have hanging off the wall their at Ash, including Fender Deluxes.
First off, Warmoth makes very high qualty bodes. Every bit as nice as an American Stds.
Second, the guitar was custom finished in a 60's authentic Nitrocellulose color- shell pink. It was a professional paint job... and so I was gong to put a nice rosewood Fender neck and have a really authentic looking 60's style Strat.
You all may have somehow missed th fact it had a set of Duncan Antiquities..ever priced them? Ever heard them? Think that stock Fender pickups on a Deluxe sound 1/3 as good- I don't THINK so.
The neck was exotic Kingwood..its very similar with Brazilian rosewood for tone. I could have used that neck for another project.
AND it had a custom case.
My only regret is that didn't bid more. I want this now more than ever, but tis too late.
I scan ebay auctions a lot for parts, but this one was very very special. I regret badly not bidding more to pick it up. Someone really stoled this.
