Couldn't pass this little beauty up. I've got some pickups that need a home, and what better than a double fat strat???

Picking it up at a pawn shop, and he's selling for a dollar above what he paid, since it's sat so long. I swoop in, grab it up!

I like the tophat knobs. A white pearloid pickguard would look sweet. Only thing I'd change. Looks great. What pickups you putting in? Keeping the covered look?

Well, the plan is to drop in my Antiquity and Brobucker into this one, assuming that I want to change the stock pickups, which, come on, what forum are we on? I do plan on keeping the covered look, because it's dead sexy.

Is that like faded Sonic Blue? Or a white? Either way I love it. (I'd probably go traditional on the knobs but the body/neck/Pickguard/covered HBs is a killer combo!)

Sonic Blue indeed. I actually really like the look of the amp knobs. Smaller control surface diameter means I am less likely to hit it and turn the volume while playing.

I LOVE ME SOME BLACKTOP STRATS! I gots one in candy-apple red with a maple board. If you want to swap the pickups, may I recommend the WLH set? Mine sports them and the sound of that guitar is undeniably freaking awesome!

It's a beauty of a guitar. Wouldn't y'all say it's a beauty? B-e-a-u-t-y, it's such a beauty. Seriously though, I would've crapped my pants if I had found a Strat like that in a pawn shop. Good find. I'm still waiting for a true '59 Burst to show up being mistaken for an Epiphone Les Paul 100.
