I know this has been talked about a million times but I cant find anything with this specific pairing...
Is the duncan 59n a balanced pair with a 498t with a uoa5 in an SG?

IME a 59n doesn't balance with much in an SG, not even another 59b

The question wasn't whether it's a favorite, but whether it would balance.
I've read it being a favorite in bright super strats. Personally I haven't seen the same comments with regard to SGs but I wouldn't discount it. The pickup works and sounds fine for the most part.
Like I said, "In My Experience" ... I didn't find it balanced well tone-wise with other bridge pickups in my SG.
