Bill
- Main guitar
- Backup of main guitar
- Guitar with a tremolo
- Guitar with high output pickups
- Guitar with low output quirky pickups
I don't like to have a lot of stuff lying around and eventually sell anything that isn't getting used.
yes, if you really should not be sending the money for your particular income strata. Thats different than wasting money on a bunch junk guitars, hey, if thats your thing and you can afford it, knock yourself out.
Good guitars are an investment, but how much of your net worth should you invest- it's a slippery slope. Another thing t consider is how secure is your investment?- can the guitars be potentially stolen?

I was thinking on this same line.
One main guitar with standard tuning.
One backup to take to practice or around, in case something happens to it
One with half-step down
One in double drop D
One with a tremolo
The hot, vintage and other pickups more or less get sorted out "automatically" into those guitars
I was thinking
Red guitar
Blue guitar
Brown guitar
Another blue guitar
Green guitar
Daphne blue guitar
Brown acoustic guitar you play BLUES on
Blue acoustic guitar
Flame blue guitar
Blue green guitar ( just a blue guitar with out of phase pickups)
See where I'm going
