laney tt50 1x12, brand new, $1,350?
VC/VH are different tones than TT, pretty different in my openion but that's from me listening to the clips, havent played them. Read this:yeah i remember the post, but how bad can a laney be? he he, i guess i got your answer. oh well, it looked like a good deal and the amp sounds great. i thought it sounded just like hte vc30 except louder.
i don't know why it sucks because the vc30 was so similar IMO. does the vc30 suck too?

Nah, man its simplier and more subjective thatn that, I am not a laney purist, I just like the best of Laney, 70s - Supergroup(we all know why), 80s - AOR series a proud owner of, 90s - VH100, 2000 .... I dont think its going to be TT, the way it looks now - Lionheart.besides sounding more modern than the vc, what's the deal with the tt50? i mean is it quality in components? what specifically is the problem? i have to wonder if it's just not acceptable to laney purists or if it actually sucks for some legitimate reason.
would you agree that an analogy might be that laney purists don't like laney modern amps as marshall purists don't like modern marshalls or something like that?

ptp?
point to point, to expect PTP from a production line company is like expecting a mind opening conversation on Camus' Stranger not really being a product of Sartre's concept with a 20 dollar street whore in the back seat of your car.
Plus PCB (printed circut board) amps tend to have board mounted tube sockets (preamp at least in most cases). I just don't trust a circut board mounted tube socket. It seems like a bad Idea to have something that generates alot of heat mounted onto a thing that is held in place by a very heat senstive material.
