I have to agree with you guys on this one. Total BS. I believe these are made in Memphis, right? Turn over there as well? Hmm....
Small dealers getting screwed, big chains taking over the major distribution, employees leaving, and a strong Gibson customer gets a guitar with sawdust all over it and no paperwork.
That's what I'd expect from MF but not your local small dealer. I'm suprised the dealer didn't inspect the guitar. They must have dropped shipped it.
Gary was right on with that picture. Their NAMM policy of appt only was total BS. A year or two earlier, they had the same policy, but i managed to slip in. Not very impressed with teh booth to be honest. This year they had a sales guy acting like a bouncer. Pretty sad.
