I find Friedman stuff over rated. Most of it are standard Marshall mods that have been done for years, at least from my experience. I guess he has his own flavor but way over priced and not for me. Would rather have a stock Bogner or a Splawn - more amp for the money - any day of the week.

Wow really?

Not me, I love everything Dave has done for me. I have lost count of the amps I have tried, and once I got my first Dave modded Marshall, I had him build me another one that had some more modern options. I still have both of those amps, and a BE100.

I don't even look at other amps anymore.

No, I had a deposit down, and then my daughter got herself into this school, and tuition is sucking up my excess cash.

I will get one (maybe even this year), but at the moment I am focused on trying to finish up all these guitars.

Nah, same as the BE100 $3699 MAP

Still expensive, but considering it is still a hand built boutique amp.

I was reading the thread over on the Marshall forum and they said the same thing. As much as I like Cantrell I'd buy another amp before I buy his sig but i'm sure it's a best of an amp.

That is the other thing. I can get 99% of the way there with the BE100 (or the Cantrell mod on my Marshall), and the rest I am afraid is in Jerry's hands. I am just not sure I want to spend the coin on another amp.
