Went to GC this morning right when they opened up and bought the Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer....SWEET!!! Yeah,i`ll eventually get the mod done to it by our very own STRATDELUXER97,what the heck! But right now i`m really diggin the pedal stock.

The mods take care of the midrange spike,you'll have more lows,more drive gain,more sustain,quieter also....I'll exchange the chip and switch the output stage over to that of the original TS 808..But it's your call.....:biglaugh:

The mods take care of the midrange spike,you'll have more lows,more drive gain,more sustain,quieter also....I'll exchange the chip and switch the output stage over to that of the original TS 808..But it's your call.....:biglaugh:

I don't recommend this. Here's why:

1. You get the OD mod.
2. Your sound is much better.
3. Because of your improved sound, you get better gigs.
4. A talent scout for a major record label catches one of your shows, asks you to send a demo to headquarters.
5. You get signed to the major record label.
6. You cut your first album, followed by a North American tour in support of said album.
7. You are launched into rock 'n' roll stardom, with all that implies: chicks, heavy partying, bigger egos -- increasing feelings of euphoria and megalomania.
8. Your growing drug addiction gets the better of you, culminating in a massive herion OD.

In short, your great OD has led you to a horrible OD.

Or maybe you only get as far as step 2, in which case you should get the mod.

I fully intended to let John mod my TS9. But at the time I was playing through a POD for most of time.

Then I got the SD Twin Tube Classic and sold my TS9 to chopstherocker.

Oh, well.

Another Per-luss Whun to the Bad Monkey, though. I really like that pedal.
