Rick:
You are using SD forum to promote your trem block, but do want to compare fairly other manufacturer's products.
The SuperVee's material does not matter, it is the tone and sustain that you get when installed in a guitar that matters. All else is pure marketing.
I have tried a number of manufacturer's bridges and have had brass blocks machined and installed in my bridge setups.
Brass blocks are difficult too machine, but just like the brass nuts of the late 70's and early 80's - brass make the tone different, not better or worse.
And for the record, the brass nut and trem block that I have machined back in 1979 came from a church bell that was left from an old church that was destroyed in a fire. The machine shop foreman was the church's deacon and a fellow band member.
So, I have tried bell brass trem blocks and will stay with what sounds best to the ears of my fellow band members and audience.
BTW -
Using another company's forum to marker your company's products is tacky, don't you think!
I have not even started on Blade runner with is also very great and uses a proprietary block with excellent tone and sustain and is installed on another guitar!
