Re: Line 6 POD HD Series

By that logic, so should computer companies. (Although, I do have a trade in program for the computers I sell, but I have a small company.
)
When you're buying something electronic, you know that it will eventually get replaced by something better. What you're paying for is the features it has, not what it's replacement will have. If you bought it as an investment, you're the person that keeps money under the mattress and expects it to increase.
Just buy what you want, use it, and then replace it when it's time. It's not like the X3 lost ALL of it's value, I just sold my X3Live for $50 less than what I paid for it. Considering I had it for two years, I got my money's worth.
Here's the list of amps modeled, supposedly:
All of the PODHD include 16 HD amp models based on*
• Fender® Twin Reverb®
• Hiwatt® Custom 100 (DR103)
• Supro® S6616
• Gibson® EH-185
• Fender® Bassman®
• Fender® Blackface Deluxe Reverb®
• Divided by 13 JRT 9/15
• Dr. Z® Route 66
• Vox® AC-15
• Vox® AC-30 (Top Boost)
• Marshall® JTM-45 MkII
• Park 75
• Marshall® JCM-800 (2204)
• Bogner® Uberschall
• Mesa/Boogie® Dual Rectifier®
• ENGL® Fireball 100
Personally, I don't have an interest in a floor modeler at this time, but I do own POD Farm, so I'd like to see the updated models brought out as an update. (Considering I just bought POD Farm, I'd really like to see it as a FREE update.
)
It's never fun telling people the top of the line stuff they bought in the past was good but not as good as the latest and greatest.. Line 6 should have a trade up program IMO though..
