mag mic dead on arrival. am I doing something wrong?

Hi All, just looking for some troubleshooting insight. I just got my mag mic, installed it... nothing. tried several amps, cables, batteries, straight jacked into the PA, DI into my pc rig... nothing. Tested connections with other guitars and (crappy) pickups and everything works... only the mag mic seems to be dead. I installed with the "non-permanent" option, and I have both the master and mic volume maxed. tried to dial each back, blend just to get anything but no go. Any ideas? I got this from Sweetwater, and I have a call into them as well.

You did more than the due diligence needed to troubleshoot a new product. Send it back for a replacement, if you do fix it another component in it could fail down the line.

Yeah. That's weird. The MagMic is two separate circuits. The pickup, and the microphone. It's odd that both would fail.
