marshall 4x12 cabinet, but with 2 15 inch speakers?

would this sound good? A friend of mine is selling his marshall 4x12 and i'm thinking of reconing my other JBL and cutting a 2x15 baffle to put in the marshall 4x12 cabinet. I'm pretty sure it's big enough, and isn't that what marshall makes best?

Randall makes a cab like that, and Dimebag had a signature straight cab with that setup. I can't honestly imagine it sounding good, unless it was mixed with a 4x12.
