Due to a recent trade, I was in need of an amp ASAP. I bought a Marshall MG 50DFX off of Craigslist last night for $100. When I first turn her on she makes a fast whirling sound, similar to a laptop/computer that is on its last leg (sorry, the best comparison I can give.) The noise went away after about 10 seconds–never came back. Does anyone know what that was?
I'm not at all complaining about the amp–sounds awesome with my Strat especially for the price. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what was going on and if I can fix it.
