Even though I can get a full size recto for around 800 or less, I still want that

Not here
Used Dual Rec's usually part for around $1,200. I got my Single for $950 used.
I suspect that the new Mini-Rectifier will retail at around $1,100 (slightly higher than the Transatlantic 15). The national distributor in Canada also insists on a strict pricing policy, so I approach is to buy used.
Though, cleans have never been the Rectos strongpoint the TREM-O-VERB and Roadster/Roadking II's undoubtedly have the best cleans.
The Blue Angel is in the Recto series and has the best cleans of any Mesa, ever. Of course it has no master volume, so it has purely output tube distortion which sounds amazing.
eh, it costs $1k?
There's so much more amp you can get for that money.
I liked the clips sorta had the el84 thing I like going without sounding mushy (I have heard some great tones from another el84 amp .. . . . the tiny terror) doesnt sound as nasty as clips I;ve heard of big rectos but I dont pay metal especially not hardcore stuff so it sounded good to me.
