Anyone else like these $20 wonders?
A year or so ago i tried a freinds Octonaut. I liked it so i decided to buy a cheap Klon clone to dip my toes befor the plunge. I used it a few time but kept turning the knobs with my foot when id switch it on and off so i pulled it off the board.
Well yesterday i decided to pull it back out and I actually like this cheap little box. I may just keep it and forgoe the expensiola Klones.
A little black tape should stop the knob problem.( I hate MXR style boxes for this reason)

I have one it sounds great, it worked great when I was in the classic rock band. I would suggest PeacePotis, but they would cost more than the pedal.

No, I don't like Klones. But I'll dig it out this afternoon just to give it a fair chance

I've got one of the cheap little mini clones, it sounds really good... I forget which brand it is. NuX maybe?

Ive heard they can be hit or miss. Some can be noisy, mine is not.
Heard they use actual Germanium diodes too.....kinda crazy at this price point.
Think i spent $27 for mine lol seen um as low as $20(maybe those are the rejects????)
