(yay, another one of those threads)

bought me a digicam today and went on snapping a couple of pics
sorry for the shakiness and lightning problems, but i'm really new to this =/


so.. here it goes:

my current 'rig' .. on the lookout for a JCM800 1x12 combo ATM .. sadly, i'm broke

funky looking pickguard i made myself while i was bored. waiting for a set of EMG-HZ's and then to be sold with the 'lil marshall i got

umm.. what to say... cavity-pwned? dremel-owned? something like that i guess

'bigger' pic of the 2 guitars.. the charvel fusion has a SH-4 and is waiting for a Hot Rail (going for the 90's -> modern Dave Murray tone)

Cool stuff. I particularly like what you've done for the pickguard of your SG.

I am also curious, what does it sounds like your crate amp. What kind of music do you play with?

I am also curious, what does it sounds like your crate amp. What kind of music do you play with?

believe it or not, it actually sounds good.. if you look past the SS hiss which is in the background being amplified by the MASSIVE gain boost the Smash Box supplies (nifty pedal.. sounds a bit scooped, but that's ok for me.. good one trick pony)
i play metal.. 80's, power, death you name it. i cant record worth a damn though, to show what the amp actually CAN do.. for gain it's great. got a pretty big sound, very generic though.. but all in all, once you look past that distortion sound it sucks lol.. the speaker is ****e and the cleans are beyond unuseable lol

Epiphone SG310 - Junior
1 P-90 at bridge and that's it

it was my 1st real amp

hehe, yea.. hard to get an early 90's charvel new
i bought it off a forum bro, who got it from someone in the states. in very good shape (you can check the pics in my sig) for how much i got it... well... for this country, it's was a steal .. pm if you're interested in the sum

I used to one of those crate amps. They are pretty good for what they are. And you can drop them down stairs and not hurt them. Even if you get a nicer amp in the future, keep it, I wish I kept mine just so I had an amp around I wouldn't care about beating on or moving around a lot sometimes.

it's not bad.. but the speaker is just horrible.. it farts out at vlumes over 3 (and the bass is turned all the way down too) it just doesnt hold enough.. i might change it sometime, but 1st i'm gonna get me a real toob amp

yeah you got that right. I remember that. But it's excellent for practicing at low volumes. That's hard to do with a tube amp. That's what I wish I kept mine for.
