t4d,
I admit to being a little picky. A lot of the Goldtops, just like other LPs, have straight grain on the back, but some look this ... even my Class 5 has grain like that, and to me, it just looks like something they wouldn't have done in the old days ... I could be wrong, though![]()

U guys are startin' to give the rappers a run for their bling, with the amount of gold around your necks!

Saul can come off as being aggressive and a little pushy. He runs his store mainly by himself, with a little part time help. He competes in a market with Guitar Center and Guitar Trader, he's getting squeezed a little by Gibson's policies, and he's trying to survive in that atmosphere. He took the store over from his Dad, and the store has been in the same location for 30+ years.
I tend to just look past the aggressive part these days. Who hasn't encountered a pushy salesman, raise your hand! He honestly seems a little less so in person.
If you find a guitar you like, though, you'll get a very competitive place. It's really a lot more important to get the ax that's right than a lowball price.
