MM, I suggest alot of different things to alot of different people and I don't remember exactly which suggestion you are referring to.

You gave me directions on how to wire the toggle such that it would enable the neck and bridge pups to be used together for more diversity.

Thanks for the kind words in regards to the axe, guys! I can't even put it back in the case for now. I like to look at it every time I go into my living room, and enjoy playing it much more.

Hey... about the fretmarkers... at least 50% of the fretmarkers on my US neck are like that, I first thought it was normal and cool looking, but I had a fret leveling job recently, and it's a flaw, there's some "air" under the clear coat or it just doesn't stick to the material, and when the tape was applied then remove (to protect wood during the job), the clear coat went off ! Be careful if you have your neck refretted..

+1 on the texas hots, but i prefer a hotter pickup in the bridge.. the neck texas hot in a strat is probably my favourite clean tone, and the blues vibe when you have the volume right down going into a cranked tube amp is *amazing*..
