My new amp Peavey 6505+ 1x12 combo

Re: My new amp Peavey 6505+ 1x12 combo

$100

The problem I've read about the AMT is while it's good at getting a good recorded rhythem tone of the Peavey, it is very thin when trying to cut a solo

If people write that, it must be true! You decide.

Thinness itself :laugh2:

Adding delay and I think I hear Chorus will always thicken up a thin solo tone. Fine if that's your thing

Chorus, delay, reverb, all in there. You mean, it's thin :D

Keyboardists make the band.. LOL... alil off topic, but Ive always gotten a hoot when I see keyboardists really acting hard core on stage. I know thats a biased statement as they prolly have more skill than me, but in my narrow mind, it isnt a hard rock instrument. I also always wondered why key players in the 80s always wore the doctor outfits?? And, I also wonder, Do you like gladiator movies??

hahaa

Congrats! Those are killer little amps. I had one for a while, and gigged heavily with it. Im more of a Fender guy these days, but it definitely did the job, and stood its ground against the other guitarists Marshall stack. IMO its great for both recording and gigging, depending on yyour style of music

For the most part it's rare to find a keyboardist that matches Tonally with a hard rock band. Does anyone else notice how artificial they sound and how they take over a mix?
