okay here it is, a completely vintage tele as far as specs go. All callaham parts, real fender neck and the lightest ash body i have ever seen. Aaron put all of this together wonderfully. He even fixed the fender neck. It plays like a dream and looks even better than i had hoped.
The body Aaron made for this guitar is a 3 pound 4 ounce swamp ash body that is completely solid, covered in very thin coats of nitro. Aaron suggests i shave with the reflection and i think i could.
everyone knows callaham quality so i think there is enough said about that.
The fender neck is a 52 reissue neck which Aaron fixed, dressed a few frets and filed the little jagged edges off. He also took care of the over spray that plagued the neck.
The pickups are peter florences voodoo te50's and they rock. they sound just like an old tele should, and with the extremely light weight body it feels like i could have picked this guitar off the custom shop shelf in 1953 and just brought is forward in time
Aaron you did a great job, you have made me the tele i have dreamed of since i started playing. Thanks
now for your viewing pleasure a few pics
