Settings on the amp are about the same as my last Archon video w/ the cranked mids (3 o'clock) & bright switch on...

And with my Mooer GE300 modeler (Randall T2HL "Tone Capture" profile that I made w/ my own amp)

That's the thing with modelers ..very quick/easy to hook up & record with.... complete w/ a whole chain of high quality effects. They're hard to beat for stuff like that..

In this case I just switched in the Randall's "Tone Capture" profile that I'd made into an existing lead preset . Swapped out the existing amp (think it was a 5150 or something) in that preset for my Randall T2 and kept the rest of the FX chain intact. Did that with a bunch of my other amps as well :bigthumb:

Prog-rockish improv w/ everything more or less centered EQ-wise. Gain , Presence and Depth @ about 1:00 - 1:30 o'clock. Laney V30 2x12..

Got my new Custom 50 out for the first time on Tuesday night for a small group thing I do a couple of times a month. No PA couple of acoustic players and a guy with a Casio board running the internal speakers. Running the Custom 50 at super low volume on my Me Mesa wide body 1/12 open back cab and playing my 2010 Carvin SH 60 here. REALLY liking this amp for what I'm doing!

Well tbh I could'nt really hear the electric guitar..(it's all but drowned out in the mix) ..just the acoustic strumming and vocals. How are you liking the new amp?

Works well for what I wanted. Has a more classic vibe overall than the Archon. Cleans are a little better, warmer, more Fender like. The crunch is different with the harmonics and not as aggressive. Only thing I can compare it to that I have played is a Bogner Shiva. A pretty modern toned amp overall, but more geared to rock tones and blues than metal. This was a t super low volume, so it really didn't show the true tones of the amp. It really cleans up and comes to life at a little higher volumes.
Has a very smooth singing tone on the gain side that is a little on the dark side.
