... I can't get into EL84-equipped small amps like those... their overdrive is too polite to my ears- the penny loafer tone... especially the Tiny Terror... tried one but I couldn't gel w/ that timid sound.

And The Tone King.....hahahahaha
He's the Burger King! A fat bastard with a New Jersey accent = Fail.
That has to be the worst guitarist I have ever seen do a legit demo

The dude is so annoying and not much value in the reviews... Isnt that right boys and girls.. Ill give you one of these bad boys right here.. (making twin horn salute)
The only reviewer worse is the commercialking..
Toneking: I don't think the real problem is anything that's actually mentioned here. Most guys here are just being immature, and they know it. They obviously have other problems with your reviews that are probably more realistic - e.g. Demo style, sound quality, etc. If a guy does a good review, nobody would care about their weight or accent. But if Andy from ProGuitarShop did bad reviews, you bet everyone would be making fun of him for things not related in any way to the PGS videos. My advice is to sift through the BS, find out why the haters don't like your videos, and try to improve from there.
Although I'm just a stupid 19 year old kid. Feel free to ignore anything I say.
I hope you signed up to the forums for more than just to respond to the people that didn't like your reviews. For constructive criticism, I don't like skipping in 2:50+ to get to the sound demo. What I encourage people to do is sandwich the talking points about the review in between the playing. What mics do you use in your videos?
Honestly there toneking, I don't care where you're from, or if your butt is the size of my uncles barn. I would actually watch a lot more of your reviews if you would shut up and do the dang review. In other words, you talk to dam much! Other than that, rock out with whatever it is you want to do with your free time.
The Carvin V3M? Eh, still undecided. The demos I've seen so far have been pretty bland, but then again, most online demos suck due to the quality of video available. I'm sure once they start hitting the street, there will be a lot more tonal info available. I'm kind of waiting til then to see if I want to get one or get the Big V3 and just run it at half power. I know those sound good! Snakeskin option FTW.
P.S. are you the Toneking back from the guitar.com forums?
I don't doubt they need explaining and I normally don't mind, it's only when my download limit gets reached and I'm reduced to dial-up speeds that it's a problem.Haha - I may be busted here. As for skipping to 2:50 ... believe it or not, I get LOTS of positive feedback on my 'commentary'. I know, I know - it's a sound demo, and you want to hear it, but part of what I do is also try to explain it to the best of my abilities. Don't hate me for it - it's just a style thing. BUT, I do play (usually) before & after my talking. And, in some cases - you'll see many different videos on the same topic. Example, if you visit my YT Channel : YouTube.com/LMSJR,you'll see this past weeknd, I shot 3 videos on the Blackstar HT1. A long review, A shoot-Out, and a Short version for those who don't want to hear the commentary. Why? NOT b/c I had the extra time - but b/c I try to keep everyone happy. Thanks & Rock ON!
Oh - about being busted on just replying to the BS comments that were posted - I am pretty active on my on forum pages : TheToneKing.com/wp/forum. Anyone her is always welcome to check it out.
Thanks!
