Crazy 8 is a special forum run pickup done a couple of years ago with an alnico 8 mag, trembucker poles. its hot and wikkid!!

Godddammit Evan! I don't have enough guitars for the pickups I got at UGD yet. Now this. I hope you bang your knee on the corner of a piece of furniture moderately hard.

On eof those new LP Studios 60's tribs is what I'm thinking. Cherry SB with cream P-whatever that is goodness!

I agree purely on the basis that it means free stuff for me, but I don't actually own a P-90 routed guitar. Might present somewhat of a difficulty. Thats why my original idea was for a hum-sized P-90 with parallel axising.

But hey, if i have to buy a P-90 guitar, I guess I have to buy a P-90 guitar. :naughty:

Actually, it sounds like you wanted a parallelaxis P-90 in a humbucker size.

This looks like a parallel axis humbucker in a P-90 size. Just the opposite.

Frank, you want to help us out here. Evan is playing hard to get.

I would gladly test that pup for you. I have the perfect guitar...a goldtop DC LP with P-90s that sounds too thin, even with A8's in the P-90s.

This looks like the perfect solution for that guitar. but I'd need to hear how it actually sounds in this guitar before putting out my hard earned $$$.

how much $$ is this pup, anyway?

So a year later I will ask, "What ever became of this Evan?" I still think making a PATB-3 into this soapbar casing would be an awesome seller and maybe the defacto bridge P-90 humbucker to use.
