Re: New DeMartini Custom Shop Pickup (my new favorite)
Looks nice. What is it?
Oh, and how much did you have to pay for the WdM?
'06 Peters Dual Channel head, with the Harrier & Warhawk channels.

HARRIER (2006): Classic overdrive is the primary sound the HARRIER delivers. Its feel is decidedly vintage and round, with a strong British heritage, yet unlike many other "classic" designs it allows for wonderful natural overdrive sounds at lower volumes with ease.
The Gain control of the HARRIER provides a wide useful range of overdrive and cleans the sound up nicely at lower settings, giving it a palette of sounds from respectable cleans to 80s rock overdrive. Using the guitar's volume control also cleans up the sound quite well, as would be expected of a great classic sounding overdrive design.
WARHAWK (2006): The WARHAWK is a high gain design suitable for "extreme metal", but with enough character and variety to be appreciated for many other overdrive sounds as well. It has a forward aggressive feel which cuts through a mix easily, plenty of distortion, but also an overall clarity and lack of "sizzle" which make it a welcome change among other "modern high gain" designs.
The midrange is well balanced, "scoops" nicely at low settings of the Mid control, and at higher settings takes on a more "raw" feel. The High control can warm the sound without losing articulation or provide a sharp/clear attack character without becoming "crackly". The Low control adds the right amount of bass response where it's needed, thickening the bass for the first 2/3 of its sweep and developing more "thump" in the last 1/3 of its sweep.
Hand made, 2 EL34s....50w w/ a 1/2 power switch, bias points/adjust on the rear, fx loop.
Go to the mp3 page & it'll basically sound like the Polaris & Gryphon channels.
WDM is custom shop. $160
