So after finding a couple of small issues with my last les paul, I sent it back and got a refund.
I got a call earlier this week from a friend of mine who works at my local gc, and he told me they just got something in he thought I'd like, so I drove on over yesterday to check it out.
He pulled off the wall a 2015 traditional pro iii, and it was love at first sight.
The guitar has a 60s slim neck, "custom" pickups, (all they changed was swapped the mag of the 57s with a3s), all four knobs are push/push knobs that split the pickups, one tone knob is a 10db boost, and the other puts the pickups out of phase, and a satin finished back, sides, and neck. The top is still glossy, and it's a beautiful plain honeyburst color.
The icing on top of the cake? The manager gave me a free setup, free set of strings, and knocked a couple hundred dollars off the price because I'm there too often haha. So without anymore talk, some pictures!
