Thanks fellas...
BloodRose, I loved it. I have a thing for honeyburst pauls.
RorySquire, the tone is great. It is somewhere in between my tele and the p90's that I let go. Of course, these are stock pickups. The guitar is not light, but definitely lighter than what I was expecting, which I think is a cool thing. It has a sharp and concentrated tone with crazy sustain. And it is pretty loud. So overall even though I was a bit skeptical before trying this out (pancake body, maple neck, and mini HBs you know) I ended up loving it. The neck could have been a bit thicker though, I kinda like them 50's baseball bat necks.
There is some work to be done. Some minor stuff but still... The saddles are completely unusable. I gotta change them. In fact I dunno if I can change them saddles without changing the whole bridge (Nashville bridge you know, not like the ABR-1 where I can "lift" them screws fastening the saddles. Anyways, let me ask.
Can I change the saddles on a Nashville bridge (without changing the bridge)?
The caps are ****. I gotta change them. The pots look alright, the heads of the height adjustment screws of the neck pickup are almost fully stripped. Gotta change them. And some polish wouldn't hurt you know.
About the case... The fit is tight but it works. So ... Mine is sorta curiosity about whether or not it is its original case. you know.
