New Marshall Amps

Let it B
are up on their home-page...

methinks...if Marshall gets the sounds they are claiming with this thing...then they are gonna have pretty much the marshall most people have been asking for many years...

Its basically a JTM and Plexi mix...with various boost functions to get into the modded plexi tones..

Looks like a very simple amp...

Can't wait to try one out and see

here's the 50W..keep clicking through the arrows at bottom right for more info

Re: New Marshall Amps

I just got done reading all the info there and am very eager to try one out. Holy crap if it does what it says, one may be mine. So far on paper (the web page), it looks good.

PPIMV on all models too.

What's funny, I was eager to read more as soon as I saw it had less knobs. :laugh2:

Re: New Marshall Amps

Uh oh, have Marshall just released something I want? This looks seriously interesting...

Re: New Marshall Amps

^ ha totally! I was thinking the same thing (about the less knobs).

"Frequency selective" preamp... hmm.

I wonder when they'll hit stores.

Re: New Marshall Amps

Very interesting. Just looking at the pictures makes me want to plug in to it and crank it.

Re: New Marshall Amps

They sound cool. Are they hand-wired custom shop stuff or circuit board mass production models?

We are truly living in the golden age of guitar amplification.

Re: New Marshall Amps

I think that might be very cool- I can't wait to try one out. Those cabs sound cool too.

Re: New Marshall Amps

PCB.... Made in the UK .....based off the Hendrix JTM45/100 and 1959 handwired models..according to the Marshall site.

Now the thing is...pricing....wonder what these will run. I'm thinking $1200 US for the 50W head.

Re: New Marshall Amps

My guess is it's got a relatively thick PCB in there.

And I highly doubt these are made in China. The day they do that is the day the doors close. The MG's are made in China but the big monsters are made in England; cabs, heads and the related combos. I believe the AVT line is made in England as well, at least they where last I saw on a factory tour video.
