New old Ibanez day

Well I traded my classical Godin for this RG560....only thing missing is the org knobs and a backplate....
But I can live with that...anyways two chords and I knew this one is another old Ibanez for me.
Sold the 430SII, it was too thin and weird while rare and good sounding, I never really loved it like my blue 1990 540R HH.

Well cleaned it up, removed the fingergrease and reolied the fretboard, nice piece of palisander.
Tightend everything up, need to intonate it slightly, takes a few minutes and then it is ok, only slight off on D and G.
The Floyd is in good shape, same with the studs, no hanging out of tune horror there.

Stuck on some 10-46 Prosteels from D'Addario, adjusted the truss slightly, removed a B string ding on fret 22, now all smooth and nice.
As usual I dunno why I always ends up with black guitars....I like metallic colours and such...love the Jewel blue my 540R has hehe and my green Tele, even my project RS135 is black...doh.
And rosewood board again....oh well I'll live
As long as it sounds nice...haha.

Wish i was a rich man i would own so many more ibanez guitars. :lol: Have to finish the project Dt50 this year. HAVE TO!

Yeah sofar I quite dig this guitar, I am not playing any shred or such, but I have always loved the feel and way these types of Ibanez guitars plays.
I have a Tele, the 540R HH, and the project RS135 that I need to finish, I am looking for an old maple neck for it...someday I going to get lucky

Aww yeah. Sounds good with some dirt .

Like you, I end up with black guitars, though metallic colours are the way to go . I was looking at 560s years ago when going for a new axe because I wanted a HSS.

This reminded me of an old demo Mr TV Jones himself did of his 560. Sticking a Flitertron in an RG = boss.

I never realized they gave up the skunk stripe on rosewood board necks when they went RS to RG.

I have two RGs. They are awesome
My favorite is a jewel blue hardtail
I always wanted one of the shaved down S Series
