New Warmoth LP!

Re: New Warmoth LP!

I don't mean the neck joint. I mean where the headstock and the neck meet. My understanding was their necks were one piece not 2 pieces glued together. A lot of Ibanez guitars have it.

They have been doing their tilt-back headstock necks with the scarf joint like that for years. Decades, actually.

Well, damn. I never noticed that before. I guess I hadn't really looked at the back of the necks as much, or at least not the ones with the angled headstocks.

Although, I just took a look through the LP necks in the showcase and on some it's very hard to tell, although now that I'm inspecting that I can see it. Still, good matching of the grain patterns.

BTMN: Do it!

The neck joint on my guitar isn't nearly as noticeable indoors. And I think the finish it has really highlights the different pieces of maple.

Re: New Warmoth LP!

WOW!! Yeah, that is stunning!! Did the guy charge much to finish it for you? Warmoth offers finishing too dont they??

is the heel very intrusive?? very sweet!

Re: New Warmoth LP!

That's so sweet I can't stand it. LOOOOOOVE the color.

BTMN...that's one heck of a nice grain in that top! I love flame, but I'm a real curly kinda guy.
