I don't mean the neck joint. I mean where the headstock and the neck meet. My understanding was their necks were one piece not 2 pieces glued together. A lot of Ibanez guitars have it.
Well, damn. I never noticed that before. I guess I hadn't really looked at the back of the necks as much, or at least not the ones with the angled headstocks.
Although, I just took a look through the LP necks in the showcase and on some it's very hard to tell, although now that I'm inspecting that I can see it. Still, good matching of the grain patterns.

What Id love to do is take a LP body and put on an explorer neck.. I LOVED the LP that Aldo Nova played like that!!
