Love it!
Details man... ya gots to provide details! Whatcha got in there for p’ups? How does it play?
I don't know if this was intentional, but the elements won't be able to damage the non-existent finish from keeping it in the van all day.
Extreme relic job.
Not sure where you live, but even if it's a POS leaving a guitar in a hot van constantly can render it un-playable; separating fretboards, warping, etc.
So long as he keeps it in a decent quality case or under a blanket it should be fine. North Carolina doesn't have the most extreme weather.
I notice the 5 way is gone. Is that 3 way switch in the volume spot?
$5 Walmart gig bag should do the trick, but it would probably be best to get one well insulated and in something other than black, if possible.
What makes you think it's plywood?

Well... that's vox populi, although my own experiences have shown me that's not really quite that true. Single-coils EMGs don't always sound good in some strats made with expensive, top-of-the-line hand-picked tone woods. You forget that EMGs sound the same in just about anything
I see that statement and I raise one "in some cases they're the ONLY choice".They are some of the best pickups in the world for guitars in which nothing else will sound nice.
yeah in a few minutes (i.e. when ever the bank cuts my check) ill be getting some EMGs for this beauty
