Swamp ash that is! 1994 Washbrurn USA Chicago Custom Silverado. Real lightweight highly resonate swamp ash body, nicely flamed quartersawn maple neck 16 radius board an jumbos. Very nice guitar frets are perfect and still has the original Wilky and SSL 5's plus I had a NOS set of the correct unique to these guitars Washburn locking tuners.
Great player is a very "alive" guitar this is my second one. The high end Strat I really wanted and is one of the Grover Jackson guitars.
Haven't put it down since it arrived except to do a deep clean restring the tuners and a set up.
She is a KEEPER!

Nice

How much did that set you back?

It was very reasonable is all I will say.
My first one is up on Reverb right now this one was less. The red one is prettier this one has a little different neck profile. I like this neck better this one is a killer player. Stomps a mudhole in the MINT 2012 American Standard Strat I almost bought in quality tone and playability (think Suhr, Anderson or Kiesel level quality here!!). These are super rare guitars with only a couple hundred built plus the condition for a 26 year old guitar and I'm stoked about getting this one!!
Here is my 1st one and this is a deal on this guitar for somebody closer.

Love the Wilkinson bridge. I have one here waiting for a body to be shipped. That looks like a cool guitar!

Sold it over 10 years ago sadly when i had to dump a bunch of gear to survive and have regretted it. It's now for sale on Reverb and is in Estonia.
I also have a NOS neck with a rosewood board for these so--.
Have a "few" of these Grover Jackson era USA Custom Washburns. they are absolute monsters and few really know about them.
Want to see pretty?
My 1995 MG 120 and it was never sold and won't be going anywhere!Click image for larger version Name:	Silverado add.jpg Views:	1 Size:	77.3 KB ID:	6060980
