Picked up a 2012 Fender American Strat used the other day. Little chunkier neck than I'm used to, but comfortable. My very first S-S-S guitar

LOVE the fat 50's pickups! Great clean and bluesy crunch tones

I think the color is called charcoal metallic or something like that.

I think the pick guard and covers are non original because all the photos I can find of 2012 charcoal strats have white pick guards. I pulled the pick guard off and it says fender underneath

The tremolo cavity cover on the back is white, which is why I'm wondering about the pick guard.

The fat 50's pickups are pretty awesome once you get them dialed in right. Love them!

The only thing its needs is a fret level. I was thinking about sanding down the neck to remove the finish and oil it up so it feels like my wolfgang. I love the oil rubbed feel
Maybe some locking fender tuners too
But its pretty awesome stock

No idea, was looking for a pic of a black pearl pickguard and came across one on a charcoal frost guitar, figured I'd post it.

I love the color though, in the right light it will turn this really cool metallic purplish color! Great find!!!!
