Note interaction - bending one note up to another

hey all, here is a recording i made last nite. basically i played one note and bent a note (which was a tone away) up to the pitch of the first note.

The first few times i did it, the notes were played together - and the second lot of bends (around 27 seconds into the track) i tracked seperately ie. The first note was played, then i went back over and made another track where i bent upto the first note....(dont worry if i'm confusing you - you'll hear what i mean when you listen to the clip)

Someone will have to explain to me WHY the first lot of bends have this interaction between the notes, and the second lot do not sound the same??? I have no idea whats going on....is it something happening within the guitar????

Thanks if ya can help, larry :22:

Re: Note interaction - bending one note up to another

I'm sorry to tell you.... but your guitar is dying.

Seriously, the "vibrato" you hear is interference caused by two notes at almost the same frequency.

But.....why does it not occur when the notes are double tracked?????

This is the question
