The tubes that were in my Pittbull, have been in it since I got it used, about 6 months ago. The rectifier tube was acting up, so I just retubed the whole thing.
Put 2 new JJ El-34 in the power section, 1 new EH 5u4g in the Rectifier, and 4 EH 12ax7s in the preamp.
It's amazing what a fresh set of tubes can do for an amp. It sounded really good before the retube, but it's just awesome now. Everything just jumps out a bit more now. Add a PRS 7 string on top of it... I love this rig!
