opinions on HAO pedals

scottish

WeirdScienceologist
particularly the rust driver and the sole pressure

so they do what they claim? even if they dont, do they still do something nice? or are they just crappy

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

ive only played around briefly but i thought the rust driver was very nice, kinda marshally. i was told that it was supposed to sound like a tweed fender but it had a more british flavor. as far as dirt pedals go it was fairly amp like in its feel

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

I have the Rumble Mod and it's a great pedal. I'd expect their other pedals to be cool as well.

I prefer my Zendrive for smooth overdrive but that's more a credit to the Zen than a knock on the Rumble.

the rust driver is meant to give you the marshall plexi tone and the sole is meant to give you the vintaghe fender bassman vibe

so judging by what you said, the rust driver does a pretty good job, lol

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

yeah i guess so! the guy who owned the pedal was all about tweed this and tweed that, but it sounded marshally to my damaged ears so that makes more sense.

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

well i just picked up the rust driver and the sole pressure for insanely cheap since they were all scratched up cosmetically. so ill post first impressions when they arrive

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

They are very well made pedals and IMO are priced pretty well...

Now, on the tone part thats subjective...I tried a rust driver and was pretty impressed wiht it over all...

Re: opinions on HAO pedals

I belive ive heard they make onew of the finest clean boosts on the market. I dont recall which one.
