It's hot, it's fat, it's bright and it's growly. I love it. It's just got more "kick" than a regular paf. While bright, it's got a great smoothness to the highs. I think the mids really give the hot/growly factor though. Honestly, I would use them for any guitar that I wanted a great paf sound from. A little, clearer, a little more punchy, a little more raucus than the standard humbucker. Just an all around great pup. Could use it for anythingthing, but obviously a blues/rock trooper. Volume and tone control changes can really flex the thing. Try a slight volume decrease and slight tone drop on the guitar for classic paf (maybe a bit more even) then crank it to be rude.
