Peavey C30 vs. C50.

I have the C30. A friend of mine wanted to know if there are any major differances (other than 20 watt's) in overall tone. More clean headroom? Clearer? Any differances in OD channels? I've never played thru the C50 so I don't know what to tell him. Thanks for your time.

I like those amps. The clean tone is very nice and the distortion is not bad at all.

The Classic 50 is warmer and bigger sounding with the 2 speakers, and it has more headroom with the higher wattage.

One thing I like about the Classic 30 is that volume boost for soloing. It seems practical in a band situation.
