I don't play super gained out...the tone shown above in the clip of the Windsor and DSL is the same basic tone that I've been using since the 90's

Ahh... yeah, the 5150 is definitely the wrong choice for that application! The "crunch" channel is sort of workable but definitely not ideal for that kind of scenario.
