Pegasus 8-string on a Jackson JS32-8Q

Hello, everyone!

Yesterday I got the 8-string Pegasus, which I need to be installed on my Jackson JS32-8Q, but I noticed, that the Jackson's stock pickup is longer, than the Pegasus... :onder: I am wondering, how it's supposed to be mounted on this guitar?
Thanks in advance!

1st to 8th string. Basically, the 8 screws fit perfectly to the string spacing - just the top and the bottom ends stick out more, than the Pegasus, which makes the overall length bigger, therefore the Pegasus mounting plates are narrower, than the stock pickup.

Wow, that's odd. I thought there'd be a width spec that everyone followed.

Well, apparently not... :dunno:
Anyway, I gave the guitar to a luthier and he said he will figure out something. I hope everything goes well.

The only solution I can see is mounting the Duncan coils on the Jackson's baseplates.
