Hi
I just joined a new band and I need some pickup advice.
Our influences are: Type O engative, The Mission< Danzig, Sisters of Mercy, Etc....
Playing a mix of covers/originals
I'll be using my Schecter Kenny Hickey Sig for the Type O stuff (it would be rude not to)
But for a lot fo the other stuff I'll be uising my KM7/JL7
I'd like to use the KM7 as my gho but the NAzgul sounds like arse for clean/crunch sounds (fo course it's heavenly for higher gain stuff)
I'm looking for recommendations on a 7 string bridge pickup pickup that I can use for a ngiht crunch to moderate high gain sound, but that wont be as over compressed for clean work as the Nazgul.
Oh yerah, the rest of my rig:
Marshall JMP 1 Preamp
TC Electronics G Major 1
Marshall 9100 Power Amp
FCB1010 floorboard
Or Line 6 Amplifi FX100 into whatever amp the practice room ahs (for rehearsal only)
Guitars:
Schecter C1ex Kenny Hickey Signature (JB/Sustainiac)
Schecter KM7 (Nazgul/Sentient)
Schecter JL7 FR (1st edition with EMG 707)
