Post your new pedals

Re: Post your new pedals

Well, this is about as un-sexy as pedals get, but it is new...

Re: Post your new pedals

might not be sexy but a few simple di boxes like that are good to have

Got a 2nd like new GE-7 for cheap locally today.
(Feel free to try my settings for an ultimate crushing metal tone into a mildly crunchy high-gain amp)

You know - if you stick a bass and a guitar one together, you get a pretty cool combo...

Re: Post your new pedals

How is the Plexi tone in that one?

I've been eyeing those FlyRigs for a while, especially the Kotzen model.

Actually, I like it! I haven't played through my main PA yet, but I have used it through my smaller powered PA speakers and it sounds really great. I really bought it for the Blonde part of it (and the reverb), but I am loving the XLR out and just how damn cute it all is.

Re: Post your new pedals

Traded one of these red boxes for one of these pearl white boxes. Like it a LOT but could use slightly less low cut, which makes me wonder if I should get one of these gold boxes...

Re: Post your new pedals

The '78 is based on the DS-1 circuit. The Classic OD and the Modified are both based on the Tube Screamer circuit.
I am researching to find out if the lows knob on the Modified is the main difference from the Classic, or if it is a totally different thing.
All three are modified from tne pedals that "inspire" them.

Great ! You can assign one to your neck pickup and the other one to the bridge.
This solve the too big difference between Pups EQ.

The Classic has an internal switch that changes the pedal between the Classic (GTOD) and the ZW44 pedal.
In the ZW mode, it should retain some lows when in use.

Re: Post your new pedals

I tried it both ways. I like it best with the switch to the right, whichever mode that is.
With the gain knob all the way down it sounds fatter so that is how I am using it. It has enough volume to still give a boost there.

The GT-OD and the ZW44 are the same pedal with the internal switch to pass from the former to the latter and vice-versa. Don't know if the Classic is only a special run of GT-OD or a different pedal

What I read, it was a special run of the GT-OD, same pedal, just different paint scheme.

Yes correct.
The Classic was a Guitar Center special release.
All three are the same pedal.
The Classic comes from the factory with the switch in the GT-OD position.

The tone and footprint from what I've heard out of them appeal to me. How can you not like a board like that to slap on the floor, plug in and go, no matter what amp is behind you and/or the PA?
