So, I hit the local Mom and Pop shop today to get some cleaner for the Strat Ultra. My bottle of Martin Polish is on its last 1 / 20th of the bottle so I figured I'd spring.
The words to the effect of "Removes Skank" intrigued me.
Well, the Strat Ultra certainly has some skank to it...and my ultimate goal is to remove it.
Eh....it's eight bucks.....
So, I just finished dis-assembly where I cleaned all the gunk off of the fretboard, removed all dirt and grime from the body and started working on the smaller parts like the ridges on the knobs.
I gotta say....I like the stuff WAY better than the Martin stuff I'd been using for years. The stuff doesn't seem caustic at all and it pulled gunk off of the parts like it was nothing. I'm very impressed with this stuff so far!
Is anyone else using it?
