This is a song about any kind of addiction. Still tweaking so any mix suggestions welcome. I will probably record the vocals again when I can get a good mic, these were done with a cheap SM58 knock off.

Yeah, the vocals sound a bit bland and sit too low in the mix, but the rest is awesome!!! I was listening to it in the background and getting into it in a way... not feeding any addictions or anything, but it sounds solid.

Nice dude. Really good. I think the verse vocals work fine, but the chorus vocals could use a little...more. Maybe double track or add a harmony part or something.

I really dig this song. It's pretty solid and everything makes sense. The only thing you really should work on is your singing. Look for a good teacher and take a few lessons. You will hear a huge difference as soon as you've mastered the basics. From there, you can train by yourself if you want. But you really need a teacher to get those basics right. Believe me Apart from that - great song!

Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated. Just a bad day for singing Chuck, I've had lessons. I'll sing it again when I get a mic and mic pre - I might have to sing it lower it's a little bit of a stretch right now.

That's really sad man, I'm sorry to hear that - peace to all those who knew the individual. I had my demons and have been fortunate to beat them off, I understand what it means to be a slave to something or someone.

I had a few close calls as well and since beat the patterns that were messing me up. Not accepting a lower quality life anymore and investing in my future are better than being a very high loser.

I get what you mean by 'beating off demons' but it's easy to misunderstand that as giving HJ's to demons!

I think the singing sounds just fine Maybe I've been in the dark here, but is this Pulse 2AM your new project? This song doesn't sound as heavy and dark as ABS, but it's still a beautiful song.

Thanks man I appreciate it - the chorus is out of my range vocally so it is a bit strained sounding. ABS is dead, 4 years was enough, time to move on...

Had a few friends who died of that crap called an addiction.....they never got to live their lives...all died young....

Yeah, I bet a lot of us know of someone lost to an addiction, Alcohol, Drugs being the main killers.
