Questions about recording and posting clips online

If all i have is my guitar and amp, what else do i need to record my riffs and put them online? Preferibly w/not a lot of expense.

I'm not a big gear-head so if you can explain step-by-step, that'd be excellent, if you don't mind.

Or if there is a good website w/that info, post that too. Thanks

Doing a search here in this forum will bring up plenty of resources on recording basics and equipment.

Most members use www.soundclick.com to upload files.
