I want to order a mity mite maple neck for this project, what's the best way to do so? The one that came on the guitar is a rosewood fretbord.

I got a nice deal on a rosewood/maple small headstock MM neck via E Bay..Lefty to boot..Also bought the blonde ProTone ash body there.Was thinking about maybe changing to fiesta red?

The bodies and necks are pretty standard...."Usually"

Measure the neck pocket, but usually Jay Tursers are pretty close to 2 3/16" wide, which is Fender Standard.

What pickguard/pickups are you putting in? So far it looks really good. I love the color. Sort of like mine that I did. I got the body already done but I put a Tortoise guard & Surfers.

Wow. I didn't see this thread before - it went down well before I joined the forum. But I was in the hardware store just yesterday looking at that exact same can of Krylon thinking that would be a killer color to paint a guitar.
