Too late for the poll, but I am probably interested in two for a HSS strat if they mix well with a P-Rails bridge.

I am very interested in this pickup. I have an HSH with P-Rails in the Bridge and Neck positions and the pickup discussed here would be ideal for the middle position. Here's how I would see it:
Alnico 5
Splitabble (obviously)
Not out of phase
I would buy this today.

I don't mean to be a negative nancy, but there's going to be some waiting time for the custom shop to come up with a design; the request we made was intentionally vague. I'd give it a couple of weeks before we can start ordering it.

ummm... You don't have to bump it, it's a sticky thread. Also, the good folks at the custom shop are working on a design, so save your money everybody so we can put in a huge order and stuff.

If this goes well, count me in as well! This would be perfect on my John5 Tele, as I'm having a P-Rail on it (as soon as the order arrives).

I'd be interested, except the only strat I have is my crappy squier, and there's no way I'm putting an SD custom shop pickup in there, lol.
