Yeah, evan said you guys were 'working on the P-90' part, which must mean that you're working on wind variations, right? Which would mean you have something that looks like what we're eventually going to get right? Come on, I know you guys have one laying around, just tease us a little to wet our appetites. Also, I feel bad for the forum members who can't get one because of the deadline - I've only been on board for the crazy 8 and I know at this phase we were getting reviews and second hand sales of the thing, so maybe you guys could move the deadline forwards some? I don't know, I just get the feeling this is going to be quite the popular pickup... Anyway, I'm sure I'll end up selling one to one of the forum bros anyway. BTW, what's the resale deal? does it depend on how many you buy? Do you just sell it for how much you paid - honor code?
But yeah, I need me some pictures...

The code is, you can't sell it for even a dime more than what you bought it for or, than what the buyer would have paid to buy it were he/she to be eligible for a purchase from the CS.
The only think I'm not entirely clear is, if you bought many and paid 100$ and the buyer buys one, will he have to pay 110$ or 100$?
But, me thinks getting the exact same amount as what you paid would be the fairest thing to do...
As for the pickup, last time we heard there was a prototype ready which was almost there but not quite, Evan said the P-90 tone needed some more tweaking while the Strat tone was there, his words not mine.
So, it's close but apparently needs some more work.

Quit bugging Evan. Sheesh! If this gets to be a hassle, they might not do another one. They havent forgotten us. Theres a little thing called business to attend to. Us?? I don't want one anyway-the ssl5/6 is about the same thing you guys screwed up.

What? Well, it's not like it's just for pickups or whatever, one specific thing... but I try to limit expenditures on things I don't "really" need, and one of those things is guitar pickups. Generally I find a set that I like in a guitar and then stick with 'em... The zebra alnico II in my les paul is almost 10 years old... I've had a jazz in the neck of my hamer for about 14 or 15 years... the same one... this whole time... haha

You are expecting , nay demanding too much by asking to be kept informed as to what's happening.
You guys have no right to be excited whatsoever !
The cold shoulder treatment is what you deserve !
You are asking way too much of someone to let you know where the development stage is at let alone request a picture of the pickup.
You guys have no right to ask questions, you will be fed a tid bit of information if and when it suits.

I would like to see a strat pickup set. There are so many strat pickups to choose from already. Dimarzio already has a few single coils w P90 sounds. Then there's the issue of trying to match one strat pickup with another. I'm going to go off a limb here and suggest alnico mags even though I know you are not soliciting ideas for materials.
A set would be very nice. One pickup for a strat does not interest me nor do I think it would be as useful as a set. Save the guesswork
