Edited to change entry:

2000-ish Hamer EchoTone (Made in Korea). I scored this for $200 with a hardshell case at a local GC. It has the stock Duncan Designed pickups in it. Just an awesome guitar and fun to play.

Best Asian guitar I have ever seen ( frankly one of the best and most visually stunning guitars I have ever seen PERIOD!!) was the MIJ Ibanez prestige AR 2000 artist I once owned.
Sadly I no longer own her as I had someone who was really into the Artist guitars make me an offer I would have been crazy to refuse on her.
Since this is ULTIMATE ax although I no longer own this one I will still post what I think may be one of the absolute benchmark guitars of all time in this category.

Love that Lukather! Quite a find.

As we're allowed to post one axe in multiple polls, I'll relist my Proline. My Roadstars are cool as well but this one just has that something extra.

My ESP. Just says ESP Custom on the headstock.
Whoever ordered it had great taste. Cherry sunburst flame maple top on ash body. Ebony fretboard. Very comfortable 60's C shape neck. A toggle switch that puts the coils of each humbucker pickup in parallel, allowing convincing single coil tones as well as fatter humbucking tones. I have a Tone Zone S and two Li'l 59's in it. Originally it had ESP high output pickups that didn't sound so great.
